NEC Australia will play a pivotal role in the co-creation and development of a world-leading Digital Safer and Smarter City environment – in Western Sydney at the Aerotropolis. NEC joins The NSW Government, Celestino, Sydney Water and SUEZ in this landmark project.
The NSW Government intends to initially develop a world-class Innovation and Technology Precinct in the vicinity of Central Station in Sydney, a forerunner to investment opportunities in priority NSW Government lighthouse precincts, including the Westmead Health and Education Precinct, the Western Sydney Aerotropolis and regional Special Activation Precincts at Williamtown, Parkes and Wagga Wagga.
NEC Australia will give SOUND WEST attendees the opportunity to explore their impressive digital LED display – made up of a range of world leading digital display solutions in various configurations. If you marvel at larger-than-life digital screen displays every time you are at a stadium or venue and are interested in a career in one of the world’s leading technology companies then this space is a must! You will also be able to have a go at a Virtual Reality game created by an SAE Creative Media Institute student with your experience projected onto a huge NEC screen. Step outside the NEC Digital Display area and check out the NEC podlet – an interactive space hosted by Australian tennis legend and NEC Ambassador Dylan Allcott AO.
Dylan Allcott AO will also be speaking on the main stage about his experience creating the world’s most accessible music festival – AbilityFest and his important work in making live entertainment democratised.
