Acclaim All-Stars Showcase 2022

Earlier this year, Acclaim Magazine launched the 2022 edition of our All-Stars initiative, aiming to spotlight and elevate the best newcomers to the Australian Hip Hop and R&B scene. To determine the All-Stars class, a panel of 100+ industry experts put forward their picks of the hottest emerging acts. From the panelist votes, a shortlist of 40 artists was determined. The public was then given the opportunity to get behind their favourite artists and determine the 2022 All-Stars Team! 1300, Srirachi, Mason Dane, Babyface Mal, Yourboymars, 3K, ThatKidMaz, CD, and Madam3mpress were picked as the 2022 All-Stars Team and were joined by Soundcloud’s Wildcard pick Jaal. Each of the finalists flew to Melbourne to meet for the 2022 All-Stars Cover shoot as well as cyphers and performance videos.

As part of Sydney's inaugural Sound West Music and Tech Festival, we’ve gathered the 2022 All-Stars team from various corners of the country to present the first annual Acclaim All-Stars Showcase, featuring live performances with the finalists as well as special guest YNG Martyr (Winner of the 2020 All-Stars) on hosting duties.

We’d love to invite members of the music industry to see some of the brightest young talents this country has to offer.

Join us on August 26 at ACE (8 Victoria Rd, Parramatta) for drinks and performances from Babyface Mal, Yourboymars, 3K, ThatKidMaz, CD, Jaal, Madam3mpress, Srirachi and Mason Dane and Gemma Navarrete.
